How long is the blepharoplasty recovery time?
How long the eyelid lift or blepharoplasty recovery time is depends upon the type of blepharoplasty or eyelid lift and what is meant by recovery. Let us start by recovery as most of the swelling and bruising has gone and the sutures are out. At this point you are not totally healed but well on your way and you can wear makeup so that no one can tell if you have had surgery.
For a lower eyelid lift where the muscles, fat bags, and skin are dealt with, the recovery can be 2 to 3 weeks. For an upper eyelid lift, the recovery is about one week.
